Special Events at Zig Zag Railway

At the Zig Zag Railway, we host two main special events, the Day Out with Thomas Adventure and the Wizards Express. Come join us on one of our special events soon or charter our Blue Train for your own Special Event. The Blue Train is available for hire for special occasions.

Day Out with Thomas

Immerse yourself in the world of a child and embark on “Our Day Out with Thomas” adventure. Setting off from Clarence Station we board a train behind Thomas the Tank Engine and travel down to Bottom Points Station. Wizards Express

Blue Train

The Blue train consists of South Australian and Queensland carriages dating from 1889.
It can be hired for special occasions such as:

Office parties
Family reunions
Anniversaries
Conferences etc
