FJS Wagons

Four-wheeled, Low Open-sided Goods Wagon, Steel Construction, 2 drop doors each side, Plain Bearings, suitable for Goods trains only.
It was the most numerous type of wagon with a total of 4,400 entering service. During their lifetime a number were modified for specific uses and re-classified accordingly. FJS wagons were not used for General Traffic after 1st June 1991 and 1000 existing wagons were re-classified MFJS for Department use only.

Zig Zag Railway

Wagon Nº 24491 was built by Commonwealth Engineering in 1951 and purchased by Zig Zag Railway in 2004.

Wagon Nº 28052 was built by Metropolitan Cammell Car & Wagon Co in 1953 and purchased by Zig Zag Railway in 2004.
