The Zig Zag Railway is an easy stop on your way to or from Lithgow. To make it even easier, we have lots of parking, a great café, a shop filled with mementos, and bushwalks nearby.

Look out for the signs on Chifley Road and the Highway.

The Zig Zag Cafe caters for visitors every day the railway operates. Our dedicated crew, led by Sariah, take pride in serving food and beverages for your enjoyment. Whether you prefer to relax at our outside tables, enjoy the atmosphere of our static dining carriages, or bring your delectable treats aboard the train, we have you covered.

Indulge in a diverse selection of both wholesome and tasty snacks and small meals available at the cafe.

Facilities

We offer free parking for cars and coaches, wheelchair-accessible amenities, a café and shop brimming with keepsakes, picnic and BBQ areas, and scenic bushwalks – all signposted from Chifley Road and the highway.
