2024 dates and ticket prices announced

Our 2024 dates have landed!

If you have been waiting to snag a ticket for your summer holidays or have a special trip for a birthday or anniversary planned, now’s the time to pull out the calendar and get booking.

We will continue to run three trips on Saturdays and Sundays each fortnight. We have included a few special days in the schedule this year, including Australia Day and Easter.

You can find all of our running dates in our booking schedule.

We have also introduced some changes to our ticketing structure to align with the 2024 dates. In response to our customer feedback, we have expanded the eligibility for concession and children’s tickets as of 1 January 2024 and have added the option to include more children in the family ticket at a reduced rate.

The changes include:

  • a child’s ticket may now be booked for those under 16yrs of age
  • concession tickets have been expanded to include NSW Seniors Card holders and Students (High school, TAFE and University student ID Card holders)
  • families can add additional children to their booking at the rate of $20/child.

2024 prices

To ensure we continue to run a sustainable operation, some ticket prices have also been adjusted.

We hope our guests understand that these were necessary to keep the railway operational and to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy their experience with us.

The 2024 prices will be:

Adult (aged 16+) $45.00
Concession (with valid card) $35.00
Child (aged 3-16) $27.50
Infant (aged under 3) Free
Family (2 adults and 2 children)

Additional children

$130 (a saving of $15)

$20/child

Let’s book!

Before booking it’s important to know how you are getting to us on the day, as that will determine your direction of travel on our railway.

Arriving by car or bus? Depart from Zig Zag’s Clarence station* for a 1 hour and 30-minute return trip to the Zig Zag Bottom Points and back up to Clarence Station.

Catching the train? NSW TrainLink will drop you at the Bottom Points train station, where you can depart for a 1 hour and 45-minute return trip to our Clarence Station and back down to the Zig Zag Bottom Points.

Please note – the NSW TrainsLink Zig Zag station is officially located in the suburb of Clarence, which can be confusing! If you are arriving by train, you must choose this option and book the Bottom Points return ticket. There is also no parking available at this station.
